Borussia Dortmund midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas surprised supporters by hosting a meet-and-greet event at a local gyros restaurant. The 18-year-old player spent around an hour interacting with fans, signing autographs, and taking photographs despite sweltering weather conditions reaching 34°C.

Karetsas recently joined the German Ruhr club following a transfer from Belgian side Gent. During the event, he first met with 11-year-old Rafael and his family, who own and operate the popular Olympia-Grill restaurant. Karetsas conversed in Greek with the family before turning his attention to the crowd of gathered Borussia Dortmund supporters.

As part of the surprise appearance, the midfielder helped distribute approximately 250 complimentary meals to the assembled fans. The free meals featured 'Taxiteller,' which is the Olympia-Grill's signature offering consisting of a combination of gyros, currywurst, and fries.

The gathering provided local Black-and-Yellow supporters with an opportunity to welcome the club's new young signing in a relaxed community setting.
