Japanese retail conglomerate Seven & i Holdings has secured 300 billion yen in financial backing from payment platform PayPay, technology investment company SoftBank, and financial institution Sumitomo Mitsui.

The substantial capital commitment involves key strategic players across Japan's digital payment, technology, and financial sectors.
