Trabzonspor Rejects Premier League Bids for Defender Chibuike Nwaiwu
Trabzonspor has turned down transfer bids from Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, and Fulham for Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu after refusing to lower its financial valuation.
Turkish football club Trabzonspor has taken a firm stance regarding the transfer valuation of Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, choosing not to lower its asking price despite strong interest from England's Premier League.
The club has formally rejected transfer bids submitted by multiple English top-flight sides, including Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, and Fulham. All three clubs attempted to secure the defender's services, but their initial proposals fell short of Trabzonspor's financial evaluation.
By declining the offers, Trabzonspor has signaled its intention to retain Nwaiwu unless an interested club fully meets the valuation set by the Turkish management. Negotiations regarding the defender's potential transfer remain deadlocked as the English suitors determine whether to return with improved offers.
